Two Party System

Among the grave errors in human thinking, and they are many, is the tendancy of our species to fail to question our assumptions. Take the political system in our country, the goode ole US of A.
The two party system has failed. Well, it has not failed the opportunist. It has not failed the incompetent Party Animal, the typical talentless gopher that rises to near the top of the political party in power. It has not failed the greedy, the inconsiderate, the egomanicale fleabag hangers on who find themselves in a position to abuse the rights and property of the US citizen.
It has failed our country and it's people.
No less than George Washington warned his subjects against the two party system in his Farewell Address. He predicted the exact situation we now have, namely a party in charge who holds the average American in contempt and serve only its own interest and that of its financial backers/owners.
That country deserves freedom and respect which demands it from it's government. Sheep typically get little or no respect. Sheep are considered stupid and have proven this assement to be basically correct.
Question? Are we going to contunue to be a Nation of Sheep?

Rumination, Cogitation and Contemplation on the Human Animal

This Blog is mostly about observations by me and anyone else who decides to post a comment or reply. It's going to have some typos because I Hunt n Peck and am the certified World's 14th worst speller in the Anguish Language.
I will post some of my writings and quote the occassional smart person some of whom will be females, gays, non-believers (among which I count myself), people of color, original Americans, dead people, intellectuals, the very occassional poet and any smart people I stumble over.
I'll include quotes that strike me as appropriate for the topic or maybe that just strike me.

Anyone and everyone is invites to add comments and encouraged to ping my position, if I have one, to their hearts content. I condemn the fundamentalist mind set and I know a little about the human mind. I know the correct definition of the term "liberal". I know the definition of the term "conservative" and a whole bunch of fundie politicians ain't one, iffin Ya gets ma drift.

I will post some tongue and cheek writing I has done done before now.

My hope is that some of this stuff will be worth the time it takes to read it. But as we already know thanks to old Alexander Pope, "hope springs eternal in the human brest..."
Can we say "brest" in A Mur A Ka anymore?
